Citizenship assistance

Citizenship assistance is available through GBCGAC’s social services at Brighton House, Quincy Tower and outreach sites. Bilingual and bicultural social service workers explain application procedures, provide assistance in application process including filling out application forms, verbally translating letters and documents, contacting service provider on client’s behalf.

ESL Classes

ESL ( English as a Second Language) classes are provided at selected sites in order to assist in attaining U.S. citizenship and a more social and independent lifestyle. Currently ESL classes are available at Brighton House, Malden and Somerville/Cambridge outreach sites. A small donation for lesson materials is suggested.

Health Talks and Presentations

Health talks and presentations are provided to empower the elders to take better care of their health. They are available at all sites. Chinese translation is provided when needed. Please refer to “news” for any upcoming events.

Exercise and Dance Classes

Exercise and dance classes are provided at Quincy Tower, Hong Lok House, and Brighton House.
