Summer is here! It is time for farmers’ markets. Greater Boston Chinese Golden Age Center works with USDA for the Farmers Market Nutrition Program each year. It gives seniors coupons to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at local farmers’ markets.
To be eligible to receive Senior Farmers Market Coupons, you must be:
- 60 years of age or older, OR
- Disabled and living in senior housing where congregate nutrition services are provided, AND
- Your income must be lower than the 180% Federal Poverty Line.
We have decided to change to the phone call registration for the Senior Farmer’s Market Coupon. Registration starts at 9am on July 23rd. Please call 617-936-0511 to register.
Please do not go to any of our locations, or call any other phone number to register. The phone number listed above it the only number that takes registration. Thank you for your understanding.
