Congregate Housing offers seniors a chance to live with others, sharing a common kitchen and/or living room, bathroom, and meals, with the privacy of their own bedroom. Hong Lok House is the only site where congregate housing is available, maintaining 18 single bedrooms and 10 studios. Construction has started on a new 75 unit Hong Lok House to be completed in 2013. Congregate Housing is open to low income seniors age 62 and older. Residences must pay 50% of their income as rent.
